I grew up in coastal Virginia and spent most of my time outside where I could play in the leaves and collect bugs. My work is a translation of my experiences from my childhood. I want my work to capture those fleeting moments we all experience when growing up. I got my B.F.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking from Baylor University and my M.A. in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design.
